Inspired by real life
The Association "Olimpikas" was born out of a real need and an inner calling to help those who are often overlooked or misunderstood by society. The inspiration came from personal experiences with people with disabilities or other social barriers - their strength, challenges and desire to be a full part of society.
When we noticed that there was not only a lack of practical capacity, but also a lack of understanding and support, we decided to act. And so, on 10 December 2004, Olympique was born - a community that aims to open doors where they are often closed.
Strong first steps
One of the first events to bring together disabled and non-disabled members of the community was a clear sign that differences do not prevent unity. This was soon followed by the first successful project that allowed people to discover themselves through creativity. A living community was born - growing from a small idea into a growing movement.

We are united by people who share the values of equality, respect and community. These are members who not only make a difference in their own lives, but also inspire others. Our community includes people with disabilities, their relatives, volunteers, culture and sports enthusiasts - everyone who believes in change.
