We took part in the town festival parade!
Members of the “Olimpikas” Association actively took part in the Kelmė Town Festival parade. Together with representatives of other institutions, organisations and communities, they became part of this wonderful tradition. Despite the rain, a festive mood accompanied participants throughout the parade, and a sense of community united everyone. Taking part gave members an opportunity to represent the association, spend time together and contribute to the town festival.
A fragrant and cosy biscuit baking education
On 27 May, members of the „Olimpikas“ association took part in a biscuit-baking workshop at the crafts section of the Kelmė Cultural Centre. During the session, participants learnt about the biscuit-making process, prepared the dough themselves, shaped the biscuits and watched them bake. Sweet moments at the Kelmė Cultural Centre
On Friday, the participants of the association „Olimpikas“ visited the Kelme Culture Centre, where they enjoyed a cozy and delicious educational activity. Participants kneaded dough, shaped biscuits, baked them in the oven, and later enjoyed a warm cup of tea. The time spent having fun not only strengthened the community, but also allowed them to develop everyday skills through a simple but very enjoyable experience.
Creative experience: the birth of a national doll
Today, participants of the social rehabilitation programme visited the Kelme Cultural Centre, where they took part in the creative craft workshop "Making a Folk Doll". A festive outing and an unexpected discovery at the gallery
Members of the „Olimpikas“ Association visited the Christmas tree in Kelmė and paid a visit to the Juozas Liaudanskis Gallery at the Kelmė Cultural Centre. There, we marvelled at no fewer than two exhibitions: an exhibition of book illustrations by Lina Eitmantytė-Valužienė and works by folk artists from the Kelmė region. A delightful discovery also brought a smile to our faces – one of our members, Raimundas, found a book about… a violinist called Raimundas! 😊
The “Galia” exhibition: strength found in people

Library workshops
The team of the association „Olimpikas“ took part in a workshop at the Žemaitė Public Library of Kelme District Municipality, where everyone made a badge. The process was fun and engaging - from the idea to the final result. Creativity, laughter and good mood were not lacking during the making process, and now we can confidently decorate our badges with our creations! 😊🍀
